Intercontinental Christmas
Christmas is celebrated all around christian world. But the customs are different in every country, as well as the wishes of the people. For example: People in Europe wish to spend x-mas under the coconut tree by the sea with the crystal blue water on tropical island. And people in Indonesia dream about the White Christmas in Europe, the best with a lot of snow.
Snow in Prague for the Christmas is also just as a dream. I remember it from childhood… and last several years there was just raining, wet and cloudy…
In Indonesia, especially in Papua where is most of christian people, they built some kind of x-mas houses. It´s interesting to see them along (or above) the streets, more or less decorated with Christmas motives.
In Europe the x-mas seems more like shopping mania. It´s not like in Papua, where the custom of giving gifts or presents on Christmas are not normally done. But both – in Europe and Papua – the families are gathering and celebrating together.
